The last blog I uploaded, about what I've been up to lately missed the fact that I have been selling work at an emporium in Christchurch. This venture was long overdue because I'd thought of it at the end of my last open studios exhibition. Eventually I took the motivation to do something about it as it didn't seem that impossible to do. Obviously I've had help and support from My wonderful parents aka bank of mum and Dad.
It has been a good experience so far and I'm getting some positive feedback and recognition for my work. I hope to be able to continue this for quite a while.
Various pictures of me I'm one of my mum and display that I have in the Trove Emporium. I try to circulate the pictures by adding and taking away to refresh the display.
Officially I rent one shelf but because nobody else is using this particularly shelf unit I was told I can use two, so I've spread my work out a bit! I have sold a painting and some fridge magnets so far. Fingers crossed for more people noticing it on the way to the café.
